GH Logistics is expanding its recruitment team and is seeking a proactive, confident, and highly independent Driver Recruiter to support our CDL driver recruitment efforts across our trucking operations.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable making high volume outbound calls, engaging driver prospects, qualifying candidates, and maintaining an active recruitment pipeline. This is a phone first and high activity position that requires strong English communication, persistence, organization, and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
A major focus of this position will be calling CDL driver prospects, following up with potential candidates, and submitting qualified drivers to our Recruitment Lead for further processing.
Role Overview
You will support GH Logistics' driver recruitment efforts by working through daily lead lists, contacting prospective CDL drivers, assessing their qualifications, and maintaining consistent follow-up throughout the recruitment process.
You will be expected to take ownership of assigned leads from initial contact through qualified submission, document recruitment activities accurately, and coordinate with the Recruitment Lead and other departments to move qualified candidates forward.
This is a fast-paced, results-driven role where consistency, call volume, communication, and follow-through are essential. You should be comfortable spending a significant portion of your shift making outbound calls, handling rejection professionally, and maintaining productivity without constant reminders.
You will report directly to our Recruiting Lead, Destiny Conley, and collaborate with the recruitment, onboarding, and fleet operations teams.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Qualify driver prospects based on license class, driving experience, availability, interest, and other recruitment requirements.
• Maintain consistent follow up with warm leads, interested drivers, and candidates requiring additional information.
• Manage assigned recruitment leads from initial contact through qualified submission.
• Accurately document all calls, candidate information, statuses, notes, and next steps in the company's CRM.
• Maintain an organized recruitment pipeline and ensure no qualified leads are overlooked.
• Submit qualified driver profiles with complete and accurate information to the Recruiting Lead.
• Coordinate candidate handoffs with the onboarding and fleet operations teams.
• Work toward daily call volume targets, driver connection goals, and weekly qualified submission targets.
• Review inbound leads and pending follow-ups to prioritize daily recruitment activities.
• Provide end-of-day recruitment updates, including calls made, driver connections, qualified submissions, and pipeline status.
• Take ownership of recruitment activities and proactively identify opportunities to improve lead engagement and candidate conversion.
What Success Looks Like
• Consistently completing 60 - 80 outbound calls per day.
• Achieving approximately 15 - 20 driver connections daily.
• Generating 5 - 10 qualified driver submissions per week.
• Maintaining accurate and complete CRM records with no undocumented calls.
• Following up with warm leads within the same day.
• Keeping the recruitment pipeline active, organized, and updated.
• Submitting qualified drivers with complete information for the next stage of recruitment.
• Maintaining consistent communication with the Recruiting Lead.
• Demonstrating persistence, professionalism, and productivity throughout the shift.
• Independently managing assigned leads and recruitment activities without constant supervision.
Performance is reviewed weekly by the Recruiting Lead, with an emphasis on consistent activity, call volume, documentation, and recruitment results.
