The role
We're looking for an experienced freelance Meta Ads specialist to set up and manage
Responsibilities
Meta's automation handles much of the ad delivery, and this role requires someone who actively manages it, checks its decisions against actual enrollments, and steps in when it's heading the wrong way. With a two-week launch window, these judgment calls determine whether the launch succeeds.
• Set up and verify Meta Pixel and Conversions API tracking with Kajabi so registrations and purchases are attributed accurately.
• Build and launch campaigns for webinar registration, then enrollment campaigns targeting registrants, social media engagers, and our existing audience.
• Monitor campaigns daily and adjust budgets, audiences, and campaign goals based on performance.
• Track whether ad-sourced registrants attend the webinar and enroll, since Meta will favour the cheapest registrations, and those often come from people who never show up or buy.
• Compare what Ads Manager reports against our own registration, attendance, and enrollment records, and adjust targeting or campaign goals when the ads look strong in Ads Manager but aren't producing enrollments.
• Shift budget from webinar registration campaign to enrollment campaign, according to the launch calendar, and execute promptly.
• Watch for ad fatigue and work with our team to create new content before results decline.
• Navigate Meta's advertising policies for a spiritual offer that uses the word "tantra," and resolve ad rejections quickly.
• Coordinate with our social media strategist and our directors, so paid and organic efforts support each other.
Reporting and communication
• Hold consistent calls and communication, to review performance and answer questions from our directors.
• Provide view access to the ad account and a weekly written report on spend, cost per registration, cost per enrollment, and return on ad spend.
• Document the campaign structure, audiences, and settings so the setup can be repeated for future launches.
• Send daily reports, outlining work, and allotment times of work.
• Deliver a post-launch review covering what worked, what didn't, and recommendations for next time.
• Support in the debrief process.
What we're looking for
• At least [2–3] years managing Meta ad campaigns, with results you can show for webinar funnels, online courses, or coaching programs.
• Experience running launch campaigns with defined open and close dates.
• Comfort working with Meta's Advantage+ automation, along with the judgment to know when to override it.
• Experience diagnosing campaigns where platform metrics and actual sales tell different stories, with examples of how you responded.
• Working knowledge of pixel and Conversions API integration.
• Clear, reliable communication and availability for daily monitoring during the launch.
Engagement details
• Contract type: freelance / contractor
• Term: approximately five to six weeks, from campaign setup through a post-launch review, with the option of ongoing work on future launches
• Estimated hours: 50–60 hours total, heaviest during setup, with daily monitoring through registration and enrollment
• Compensation: $10–12 USD per hour, plus a $50 USD bonus for each enrollment attributed to your ads (a student who purchased through an ad link.)
• Total ad spend: $8000 USD
• Start date: Mid-November
• Location: remote. We're based in Pacific Time and hold calls on weekdays.
