JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Amazon Compliance Specialist to oversee product compliance across Amazon marketplaces. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet Amazon's regulatory and safety requirements, managing product testing and certifications, submitting compliance documentation, and resolving compliance-related issues to keep listings active and in good standing.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, product compliance processes, and working with testing laboratories and manufacturers to obtain required approvals.

Key Responsibilities
Manage Amazon product compliance requirements for new and existing listings.
Coordinate product testing and obtain required certifications, including CPCs, GCCs, ASTM, CPSIA, CPSC, and other applicable documentation.
Submit compliance documents through Amazon Seller Central and respond to requests from Amazon's Product Compliance team.
Monitor listings for compliance warnings, suppressions, and documentation requests.
Resolve compliance-related listing issues quickly to minimize downtime
Prepare and submit appeals, Plans of Action (POAs), and supporting documentation when required.
Work with manufacturers, suppliers, and third-party testing laboratories to ensure products meet regulatory standards.
Maintain organized records of compliance documents, testing reports, and certification renewals.
Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and readily available for audits or Amazon requests.
Monitor Amazon policy updates and ensure ongoing compliance across product listings.
Work closely with Product Development to ensure new products meet compliance requirements before launch.
Partner with Marketplace, Operations, and Warehouse teams to support compliant product launches.

Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Amazon product compliance or a similar regulatory compliance role.
Strong working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and Amazon compliance processes.
Experience obtaining and managing product testing, certifications, and regulatory documentation.
Familiarity with U.S. consumer product safety regulations, especially children's products
Experience working with third-party testing laboratories and manufacturers.
Proven ability to resolve Amazon compliance cases and communicate effectively with Amazon support teams.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Success in This Role
