JOB OVERVIEW

Nordcut Studio is a short-form video consulting agency that gives companies and creators their own dedicated editor.

THE WORK
Short-form video for companies and creators: TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. You are one client's dedicated editor for a selected period. They upload footage and a brief, you cut it, they leave notes, you revise.

THE ROLE
You receive the footage, the brief, the client's style references and our editing standards. You deliver finished cuts on time: hooks in the first second, captions, pacing, sound, and the export in every format the client posts to.

You will not find clients, write scripts or handle billing. We own the client relationship. You own the edit and the turnaround.

THE BAR
Retention over decoration. Every cut earns the next second of attention. The job is shipping edits that hold people, consistently, on deadline, and taking notes without friction. If you need a week per video, this is not the role.

REQUIRED
- A portfolio of short-form edits you made yourself.
- Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut, at a professional level.
- Fast. Several finished short-form edits a day at client quality.
- Disciplined. You show up every day, hit the deadlines and answer revision notes the same day without being chased.
- Written English good enough to read a brief and reply to notes.
- A desktop computer that handles 4K footage, and reliable internet.
- Available 8 hours a day on weekdays, overlapping with CET hours.

NICE TO HAVE
Motion graphics and animated captions. Sound design. Experience editing for creators or brands on TikTok, Reels or Shorts.

PAY
$500 USD every month, plus a bonus program.
