JOB OVERVIEW

Integrated Insurance Solutions is seeking an experienced Virtual Assistant to support our Personal Lines team. We are looking for someone with prior experience working with a U.S.-based independent insurance agency who is familiar with Applied Epic and Personal Lines quoting workflows.

Required Experience

Previous experience supporting a U.S.-based insurance agency

Applied Epic experience required

Experience assisting with Personal Lines quote preparation

Familiarity with Home, Auto, Renters, Condo, Dwelling Fire and Umbrella insurance

Experience entering information into insurance carrier portals and/or comparative rating systems

Strong data-entry and documentation skills

Ability to accurately maintain client and prospect information in Applied Epic

Strong written English and communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities

Enter prospect and client information into Applied Epic

Enter underwriting information provided by clients or licensed IIS staff into carrier quoting systems

Assist with preparing Personal Lines quotes for review by licensed IIS employees

Enter information into approved carrier portals and comparative raters

Gather and organize information needed by the licensed team to complete quotes

Create and update activities in Applied Epic

Upload and attach documents to client files

Maintain accurate electronic client records

Prepare quote information and documentation for review by licensed Account Managers or Producers

Follow up internally regarding missing information

Perform other non-licensed administrative support functions for the Personal Lines team

Assist with phone calls and calling on non pays

Licensing Limitations

This is a non-licensed insurance support position. The Virtual Assistant will not provide insurance advice, recommend or interpret coverage, discuss coverage options with clients, negotiate insurance terms, bind coverage, make coverage changes, or perform other activities requiring an insurance license.

All insurance recommendations, coverage discussions, binding decisions and other licensed activities will be handled by appropriately licensed IIS employees.

Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate already understands the workflow of a Personal Lines insurance department and can work efficiently within Applied Epic and carrier quoting systems with minimal training.
