JOB OVERVIEW

Canopy Trades is building a dependable remote office team for our Canadian home-services businesses. Pelican Painters is a cornerstone of the work. We need someone who can own the client journey from first enquiry through a booked job, while keeping the office organized. This is a hands-on phone and operations role, not a generic data-entry VA role.

What you will do
• Answer and promptly return calls, texts, and emails from homeowners and commercial prospects during agreed Toronto (Eastern Time) hours.
• Qualify each lead, gather job details/photos, book the right site visit or expert call, and keep every next step in the CRM.
• Prepare clear written estimates using approved pricing and templates. Get technical or unusual scopes reviewed before sending. Follow up on open quotes and close jobs within agreed terms.
• Research new leads and referral partners, make thoughtful outbound calls, and track results.
• Coordinate appointments, schedules, customer updates, paperwork, and routine office administration. Improve checklists and handoffs as you learn the business.

You should have at least 2 years of North American home-services, construction, property-services, or trades office experience; strong spoken and written English; real phone sales or appointment-setting results; and careful CRM habits. Jobber or a similar field-service system is a plus. You must have reliable internet, a quiet calling setup, and availability that overlaps Toronto business hours. We will train on our services and pricing, but you must take ownership and follow through.

Start at 30 hours per week at $4–$6 USD/hour, depending on directly relevant experience. Paid trial first; hours and responsibility can grow based on results. We pay for all trial work.
