JOB OVERVIEW

Type Brand Design Motion as the first line of your application. We will not read applications without it.

This is a brand design role. It is not a social media, Reels or TikTok role. If your work is mainly social content or video editing, this role is not for you.

We are a branding consultancy based in Dubai and London. We create brand identities for large organisations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait. Our work includes naming, identity systems, brand guidelines and brand launches.

We are refreshing our portfolio of identity projects. We need a brand designer for three months (12 weeks), full-time, to bring these identities to life digitally. There may be further work for the right person.

KEY PARTS OF THE ROLE

- Create brand renderings and mockups in Photoshop, such as motion logos, signage, stationery, vehicles and environments
- Composite generated rendering material with Photoshop, photography, video, illustration and graphic design

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Bring our brand identities to life
- Animate four to six brand identities from our original Illustrator files, respecting each brand's guidelines
- Animate typography, graphic elements, campaign artwork and static brand assets
- Add movement, depth, pacing and visual effects without losing the premium quality of the original creative
- Produce short case study films for our website

Design brand systems
- Develop logo concepts with thought for how they come to life in motion
- Help bring a visual system to life across key touchpoints, from social media to signage
- Develop early concepts into refined, complete design solutions across print, digital, interactive, motion, three-dimensional and environmental touchpoints
- Think in terms of systems, with some technical knowledge

Contribute to client and internal projects
- Work individually and with the team to advance design concepts and thinking
- Take part in brainstorms, creative work sessions and internal meetings
- Help produce client presentations
- Help gather materials and update case study exhibits
- Take part in initiatives that build our firm and culture

Quality
- Make sure all work complies with approved brand, product, likeness and usage requirements

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You must excel in After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. These are essential.

You must also have:
- At least three years' experience in a branding consultancy, design studio or in-house brand team
- A portfolio of identity systems you designed: logos, typography, colour, guidelines and applications
- Working knowledge of the rest of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Premiere Pro
- Experience creating and editing video content
- A strong grasp of design principles, typography, colour theory and animation techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. You can explain design concepts clearly to clients and colleagues from other disciplines
- The ability to manage several projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good written English
- A computer that renders After Effects smoothly, plus a backup internet connection

HOURS

Full-time, 9am to 6pm Manila time, Monday to Friday. We hold a 15-minute review each day at 2pm Manila time, which is 10am in Dubai.

PAY AND TERMS

- 1,500 USD per month for three months (12 weeks), full-time
- Paid on the 15th and 30th via Wise, with fees covered by us
- A paid test before we offer the contract
- Possible further work for the right person

This is a full-time contract, and we need your full attention for the 12 weeks. It is not suited to working alongside other clients during that time.

All work and source files belong to the company. Some of our clients are confidential.

2. Name two identity projects you designed. For each, tell us your role and what you created.

5. Tell us your earliest start date.
