JOB OVERVIEW

Leather Furniture Brand, Australian Company
Rate: 10 AUD per hour · 20 hrs/week trial, scaling to 40

About us
We are Rumpus, an Australian leather furniture brand selling lounges and sofas in Australia and the United States. We are part of a larger ecommerce group and we run paid social advertising continuously, mostly on Meta. We use AI tooling across the whole business every day.

The role
We are looking for one person who can make ads end to end for Rumpus.

End to end means you own the whole thing: you take the brief, d ---------- the concept, write the script, generate and edit the video, and hand back an ad we can put budget behind the same week. You are not waiting for someone else to give you a storyboard, and you are not handing the editing to someone else.

This role has two halves and we need both.

The first half is tool fluency. You are genuinely comfortable with the current generation of AI video tools: Seedance, Kling, Veo, Higgsfield, Runway, and whatever comes next. You know which tool suits which job and you can explain why. You edit confidently in Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or similar.

The second half is creative strategy, and this is the half most applicants do not have. Before you open any software you should be able to say who the ad is for, what angle it is taking, and what the offer is. Format comes after all three. If you have only ever executed other people's concepts, this will be a hard role.

What you will do
- Produce Meta ad creative every week, at volume
- Concept first: persona, angle, offer, then format
- Generate, edit, grade, caption and deliver finished ads
- Review what performed, form a view on why, and feed that into the next batch
- Bring us ideas we did not ask for
- One hard constraint, please read before applying
- Our entire product claim is the leather itself. It is full grain and you can see that in real footage. AI still gets leather grain, stitching and light on a seat cushion wrong, and our customers spend thousands of dollars and look very closely before buying. So the product must be real footage.

AI is for everything around the product: scenes, environments, people, motion, concepting, variations and speed.

If your portfolio is entirely AI-generated product shots, this is not the right role for you, and we would rather both of us knew that now than after a month.

Rate, hours and timezone
- Rate: 10 AUD per hour
- Start: 20 hours per week as a paid trial
- Then: 40 hours per week once we are both happy
- This is ongoing work, not a single project
- You need some overlap with Australian business hours (GMT+10 / GMT+11)
- Stable internet and a computer that can actually handle video editing
