Lyons Cards | Remote — Philippines
We’re hiring a creative professional to lead video editing and YouTube content production for Lyons Cards and The Lyons Edge Roadshow.
Our content features card shops, collectors, interviews, buying trips, sports-card education and the people behind the hobby. We supply original footage and ideas. You turn them into polished videos people want to click, watch and share.
We need someone who can shape a story, create strong graphics and bring original ideas—not simply trim footage and apply templates.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Turn interviews and roadshow footage into engaging YouTube episodes while preserving natural conversations.
• Build compelling openings, clear storylines and well-paced edits.
• Design professional thumbnails, titles, motion graphics, lower thirds and useful on-screen comparisons.
• Improve sound, color and overall presentation.
• Create Shorts,
• Suggest content ideas, episode formats and ways to improve viewer retention.
• Manage an ongoing editing schedule and organize footage, project files and finished exports.
• Review performance and use the results to improve future content.
THE CREATIVE STANDARD
Study Jeff Wilson’s Sports Card Investor and other strong YouTube channels for their storytelling, presentation and production quality. We want our own recognizable style: energetic, thoughtful and professional, with people and community at its center.
Our brand uses black, gold, silver and electric blue. Graphics should strengthen the story and help viewers understand the cards.
YOU SHOULD HAVE
• A strong portfolio of YouTube content you personally created or edited.
• Excellent storytelling, video editing, thumbnail and graphic-design skills.
• An understanding of YouTube hooks, pacing, titles and audience retention.
• Strong English comprehension for editing interviews.
• Reliable communication and capacity for a full-time role.
• Sports or trading-card knowledge is a plus.
TO APPLY
Send:
1. Three relevant YouTube videos, explaining your exact role.
2. Three thumbnails or motion-graphics examples.
3. Your editing/design software, availability and monthly rate.
4. Your typical turnaround for a 7–10-minute interview with supporting footage.
5. A short explanation of how you would turn a card-shop visit into an engaging episode.
Shortlisted candidates will complete a paid trial using our footage. Please disclose whether your work uses a team or subcontractors.
