AI Video Editor / AI Creative Editor — Artlist AI + Kling

We’re looking for a skilled AI Video Editor / AI Creative Editor who can take scripts and creative concepts and turn them into polished, cohesive AI-driven video projects.

Our team uses the Artlist AI Toolkit to bring these projects to life, so we need someone who is comfortable working within an AI generation workflow and understands how to take a project from initial concept and image generation through AI video generation and final editing.

Strong experience generating video with Kling is especially important.

A major focus of this role is character continuity. If a character appears throughout an ad, we need them to look and feel like the same person from shot to shot — consistent face, wardrobe, environment and overall visual style.

We are not looking for someone who has simply experimented with AI prompts. We need someone who knows how to actually build complete AI-driven videos.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Turn scripts and creative briefs into complete AI-generated video projects
Use the Artlist AI Toolkit as part of our production workflow
Generate high-quality AI video using Kling
Generate reference images and source imagery for scenes
Create and maintain consistent characters across multiple shots
Maintain continuity with faces, wardrobe, locations, props, lighting and visual style
Build scenes using image-to-video and text-to-video workflows
Write and refine prompts to achieve specific shots, actions and performances
Generate multiple camera angles and compositions while maintaining character continuity
Troubleshoot changing faces, inconsistent clothing, warped objects, unnatural movement and other common AI issues
Select the strongest generations and build them into cohesive sequences
Edit AI-generated footage into finished performance ads and creative projects
Add graphics, captions, typography, music and sound design where appropriate
Follow scripts and creative direction while bringing your own ideas to the execution
Organize generated assets and project files clearly
Take feedback and turn revisions around efficiently
AI SKILLS WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You should understand how to get consistent, usable footage from AI, not just impressive individual generations.

We’re especially interested in someone who understands:

Text-to-video generation
Prompt writing and iteration
Facial consistency
Wardrobe and prop continuity
Environment and location continuity
Camera movement and shot composition
Multiple angles of the same character or scene
Realistic human movement and performances
Knowing when a generation needs to be redone rather than forced into the edit
Combining AI generation with professional video editing
YOU’RE PROBABLY A GREAT FIT IF...
You’ve completed full AI-generated videos, not just individual AI clips
You can show examples where the same character remains recognizable across multiple shots and environments
You understand that every generation needs to feel like part of the same project
You have a strong understanding of composition, lighting, camera angles and visual storytelling
You can take a written script and determine how to visually execute each scene
You understand pacing and viewer retention
You’re comfortable combining AI-generated footage with traditional editing
You’re comfortable with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar professional editing software
After Effects or compositing experience is a plus
You’re organized and can manage large numbers of AI generations, versions and source assets
You communicate consistently with the team
You can work efficiently without sacrificing quality
You can follow creative direction without needing every individual shot spelled out for you

We are not looking for someone who simply knows how to type prompts into an AI generator.

We care about whether you can direct an AI project from beginning to end.

We care about character continuity.

We care about visual consistency.

We care about whether the final project feels intentional and professionally produced.

A great-looking individual AI clip doesn’t mean much to us if the character completely changes in the next shot.

The goal is to create AI videos that feel like one cohesive production, not a collection of unrelated generations.

WORKING WITH OUR TEAM

You’ll work alongside our creative and marketing team producing AI-driven performance ads and other creative projects.

Our team will provide access to the Artlist AI Toolkit, along with scripts, concepts, brand assets, reference material and creative direction.

We move quickly, communicate directly and expect editors to take ownership of their projects.

We want someone who can read a script, understand the creative direction and figure out how to bring it to life through AI without needing every prompt, generation or camera angle spelled out for them.

PAID TEST PROJECT

Final candidates will complete a paid AI project so we can see how you approach our workflow.

We’ll provide the script, creative direction and access to the tools needed for the project.

We’ll primarily be evaluating:

Character continuity
AI generation quality
Kling proficiency
Prompting and iteration
Shot composition
Visual consistency
Storytelling
Editing
Sound design
Overall polish

We want to see both your ability to generate the assets and turn those assets into a finished video.
