We are a growing U.S.-based logistics company looking for a sharp, organized Routing & Planning Coordinator to own the scheduling and coordination side of our shipments.
This is a coordination role, not a data-entry role. Your job is to plan how our trucks run — consolidating orders, building efficient routes, and coordinating directly with receivers so shipments are set up to succeed before a truck is ever booked. You'll be the person who keeps the day organized and ahead of schedule.
You will work U.S. business hours, closely with our operations team, and follow clear SOPs — but you'll also use good judgment to solve scheduling puzzles as they come up.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and build daily routes from incoming orders
Consolidate multiple orders into efficient shipments where possible
Call and coordinate with receivers to confirm delivery windows, appointments, and requirements
Schedule pickups and deliveries around customer timing and appointment constraints
Enter and maintain shipment/route information in our TMS (Rose Rocket)
Communicate the daily plan clearly to the internal team
Flag scheduling conflicts or risks early, before they become problems
Keep routes updated as orders change throughout the day
Note: This role does not book/negotiate carriers — it plans and schedules the routes that our booking team then covers.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong planner who can juggle multiple moving orders at once and stay organized under pressure
Comfortable making phone calls and coordinating with U.S. receivers and customers
Clear spoken and written English (does not need to be perfect, just clear and confident on the phone)
Detail-oriented — small scheduling errors create big downstream problems
Proactive about flagging issues early rather than waiting to be asked
Experience in logistics, dispatch, routing, or operations coordination is a strong plus
Comfortable working across multiple tools (TMS, Google Sheets,
