Engagement: Long-term, exclusive cooperation
About ProductFlight:
ProductFlight is a B2B SaaS platform for product-data integration and syndication. We help retailers, manufacturers, and wholesalers connect complex product-data sources such as Excel files, APIs, PIM systems, marketplaces, and industry data pools.
Our platform processes large and highly heterogeneous datasets and uses automation and AI to map, validate, transform, and distribute product information.
We are a small engineering-focused team, so QA is closely integrated with development rather than being a separate final step before release.
What you'll do:
As a QA Engineer at ProductFlight, you will be responsible for making sure new features work reliably across our UI, APIs, integrations, and data-processing workflows.
You will:
Test new features before they reach production.
Create and maintain automated end-to-end and integration tests.
Test our Streamlit-based web application using Playwright.
Test APIs, background jobs, imports, exports, and data-processing pipelines.
Verify complex product-data transformations and validation rules.
Reproduce bugs and turn them into clear, actionable tickets for developers.
Create regression tests for previously discovered issues.
Test edge cases involving malformed, incomplete, or unusual customer data.
Review acceptance criteria together with developers before implementation.
Help improve our overall testing strategy and release process.
Investigate production issues and verify fixes.
Gradually automate repetitive manual QA work.
Our stack
You will primarily work with:
Python
pytest
Playwright
REST APIs

You do not need to be an expert in every technology, but you should be comfortable understanding technical systems and debugging problems together with developers.
What we're looking for:
Professional experience in software QA or test automation.
Good understanding of web application testing.
Experience writing automated tests.
Basic Python programming skills.
Experience testing APIs.
Ability to systematically reproduce and isolate bugs.
Strong attention to edge cases and unexpected behavior.
Ability to understand requirements and identify missing scenarios independently.
Comfortable working independently in a small team.
Good written English.
Nice to have:
Experience with Playwright.
Experience with pytest.
Experience testing data pipelines or ETL systems.
Experience working with large or messy datasets.
Familiarity with AWS.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience testing AI-powered applications.
Knowledge of e-commerce, PIM, ERP, marketplaces, or product-data systems.
Working arrangement:
This is a long-term remote position for candidates based in the Philippines.
We expect:
32 working hours per week.
ProductFlight to be your exclusive professional engagement during those working hours.
Reliable availability and regular communication with the European team.
A high degree of independence and ownership.
Long-term interest in becoming deeply familiar with the ProductFlight platform.
