JOB OVERVIEW

Lexern Law Group, Ltd. is looking for an experienced Legal Drafter to assist with estate planning and related legal document preparation for matters in Illinois and Wisconsin on a remote/contract basis.

Qualifications:
-Must be a licensed attorney/lawyer.
-Prior experience drafting estate planning documents.
-Experience using WealthCounsel is preferred.
-Familiarity with Illinois and Wisconsin estate planning and deed requirements is preferred.
-Excellent written and spoken English.
-Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
-Able to follow templates, instructions, and firm procedures accurately.
-Reliable, responsive, and able to meet deadlines.
-Comfortable receiving and incorporating attorney feedback.

The work may include drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, trust amendments, deeds, and other estate planning documents.

This is a remote contractor opportunity, and we are looking for someone interested in developing a reliable, long-term working relationship with the firm.
