About us
The Kove by NĀGA is opening soon at Cove 2, Boracay Newcoast — the sister venue to NĀGA Siargao's island dining spot. We're looking for a Head Chef to build the kitchen from the ground up and bring a menu that matches the energy of a beach bar with the quality NĀGA is known for.

What you'll be doing

Designing and owning the menu — beach bar food that's craveable, not complicated
Running the kitchen day-to-day: prep, service, cleanliness, consistency
Training, and managing the kitchen team
Managing food cost, portioning, and supplier relationships
Keeping the kitchen compliant with health, safety, and sanitation standards
Working with the GM and bar team so food and drinks actually work together (pairings, timing, flow)
Managing inventory and ordering, especially with the logistics of an island location in mind
Getting hands-on with pre-opening: menu testing, kitchen setup, systems, staff training before soft opening

What you bring

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef ready to step up, ideally in a bar, restaurant, or resort setting
Comfortable creating a menu from scratch, not just executing someone else's
Strong grip on food cost and kitchen management — not just cooking, running a business
Know-how on health/sanitation standards and PH kitchen compliance
Can lead and train a team, especially staff at varying experience levels
Based in Boracay
Flexible schedule — nights, weekends, holidays included
Genuinely into beach/bar food culture — bonus if you can bring some Filipino flavor into it
