JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for an experienced Breakdance WordPress specialist to help design and build a premium website for an established electrical contractor operating across London and Surrey.

This is not a basic template build.

The goal is to create a website that feels high-end, commercially credible and modern, while still converting strongly for domestic, commercial and emergency electrical enquiries.

The company has multiple engineers, strong industry credentials and the ability to handle larger commercial projects, so the website needs to position them as a serious electrical contractor rather than a small local tradesman.

What I need

I will provide the overall strategy, page structure, service direction, brand assets and content guidance.

I need someone who can take that structure and turn it into a top-tier Breakdance website with excellent visual hierarchy, UX and responsiveness.

The site should feel:

Premium
Modern
Professional
Commercially credible
Trustworthy
Clean
Fast
Conversion-focused

It should not look like a generic electrician template.

Breakdance experience is strongly preferred

Ideally, you should already be highly experienced with Breakdance Builder.

I am particularly interested in someone who understands:

Breakdance global styles
reusable sections
responsive controls
advanced layout
mobile optimisation
clean class structure
dynamic elements
performance optimisation
reusable design systems

If you mainly work in Elementor and have little or no Breakdance experience, this role may not be the best fit.

Scope

The initial website will likely include pages such as:

Home
About
Domestic Electrical Services
Commercial Electrical Services
Emergency Electrician
Consumer Unit Upgrades
Rewiring
EICRs
Fault Finding
EV Charger Installation
Smart Home / Automation
Contact

There may also be additional service and location pages later.

Design expectations

I am looking for someone who can create a site with a strong premium feel, not simply arrange text into standard sections.

I want you to think about:

strong above-the-fold positioning
premium typography
clear CTAs
trust signals
qualifications/accreditations
engineer/team credibility
service-area coverage
commercial project positioning
case study sections
testimonials
emergency call-out sections
commercial enquiry CTAs
mobile-first usability

The site must work equally well for someone looking for a domestic electrician and a facilities manager or commercial client looking for a larger contractor.

Important

I do not want someone who simply installs a theme and changes colours.

I am looking for a designer who can take an existing strategy and create something that feels custom, polished and significantly better than the average UK electrical contractor website.

Attention to detail matters.

Spacing, mobile layouts, section transitions, typography, CTA placement and overall visual consistency all need to be excellent.

Technical requirements

The site should be:

Built in WordPress
Built primarily in Breakdance
Fully responsive
Fast-loading
SEO-friendly
Easy to edit
Structured cleanly
Built using reusable/global components where appropriate
Compatible with Rank Math
Built with good Core Web Vitals practices in mind
What I will provide

I will provide:

brand/logo
website strategy
page structure
content direction
service list
credentials/accreditations
example websites/styles I like
feedback throughout the build

You will not be expected to develop the full SEO strategy from scratch.

Your main responsibility is turning the strategy into an exceptionally well-designed, professional Breakdance website.

To apply

Please send:

Examples of your best WordPress websites
Examples specifically built in Breakdance
Which parts of those websites you personally designed/built
Your experience with responsive design
Your experience improving conversion rates / CTA structure
Your experience building websites for trades, construction, property, commercial services or similar sectors
Your estimated timeframe
Your fixed project price

Please start your proposal with the word BREAKDANCE so I know you have read the brief properly.

Generic applications will not be considered.

What I’m looking for in the final result

The website should make a prospective customer think:

“This is a serious, established electrical contractor I can trust with both domestic and commercial work.”

If the first project goes well, there is likely to be further work across additional websites and landing pages.
