We are a US based creative agency producing performance advertising for mobile and PC game publishers. We concept, write, capture, edit, and deliver the video and static creative that runs their user acquisition campaigns.
We are looking for someone to take three active game accounts off our founder's plate and run them completely. This is a leadership role first and a creative role second. You will own the accounts, direct the people delivering on them, and be the person who d
What you will lead
Three mobile game accounts, each producing video and static creative every month along with hook and format variations. You own the calendar, the quality bar, and the delivery.
The team behind that work. We have an editor, a capture operator, and a social media manager already in place. You will brief them, review what comes back, give notes that actually make the work better, and hold the schedule. We need someone who has done this before and likes doing it. If managing other people feels like a distraction from the real work, this is the wrong role for you.
The creative itself. You are not only assigning work, you are making it. You will study each game, find the angles worth testing, write the scripts and hooks and ad copy yourself, build the capture shot lists, and design static ads. We need someone who can still do the craft at a high level while running the people who do it alongside them.
The relationship with our media buying partner. You will hand off finished creative on spec and on time, take performance feedback, and turn what you learn into what we make next.
What we need
Four or more years producing advertising creative, with at least some of that spent leading other creatives or running accounts. Game, app, or entertainment experience preferred. Performance advertising background matters far more than brand or corporate work.
Real management experience. You have directed editors, designers, or other creatives before. You know how to give a note that lands, how to hold a deadline without being a problem to work with, and how to keep several projects moving at once without dropping anything.
You write well. Scripts, hooks, ad copy, client facing documents. This is the single hardest thing to teach and we screen for it first.
You can build a static ad, not just brief one. Canva, Photoshop, or Figma. You understand composition, hierarchy, and what makes someone stop scrolling on a still image.
Working fluency in an editing and motion environment. Premiere, CapCut, or After Effects. You do not need to be the finishing artist but you need to spot the problem and say exactly what to fix.
Hands on experience with AI video and image generation in finished client work. We use tools in the Higgsfield family along with Veo and ElevenLabs. If your stack is different we will bring you across.
Familiarity with gameplay capture. You should know what a clean plate is, what a marketing camera mode does, and how to write a shot list against a build.
Four hours of daily overlap with US Pacific time.
How this grows
This starts at 20 hours a week at $2,000 to $2,500 per month depending on experience. We have two larger engagements closing this quarter and this role expands to full time as they land, with compensation moving accordingly. We would rather find the right person now at part time hours than rush a full time hire later.
For the first sixty days our founder stays on all client calls so you can focus on the accounts and the team. After that you take over client communication directly.
To apply
Send us four things.
First, describe one ad or campaign you personally concepted and produced. What was the brief, what angle did you choose and why, and what happened.
Second, tell us about a time you led other creatives. How many people, what were you responsible for, and what was hard about it.
Third, walk us through your first thirty days on an account you have never seen before. What do you do, in what order, and why.
Fourth, send links to three pieces of work you directed, including at least one static ad.
Start your message with the word Riftstone so we know you read the full post.
