Sourcing Squad HQ pays its best sourcers $5-$9.50 per hour, plus performance incentives on top. Everyone starts with a paid trial at $3/hour and works up from there. Below is exactly how that works.

HOW THE PAY WORKS
1. Paid trial (14 days): $3 USD/hour while we test your real skills. If you meet our expectations and we offer you the next phase, you get a $50 USD bonus at the end of the trial.
2. Acclimation phase (90 days): $3.50-$4.00/hour while you settle into the team.
3. Long-term position: a potential pay increase, paid holidays, paid time off, and more.
4. Always: incentives for great performance on top of your hourly rate.

We pay every other Monday, on time. In more than two years, we have never missed a payment.

WHO WE ARE
Sourcing Squad HQ is a remote team of 7 that has been running for 2+ years and plans to be here for 20 or more. Our sourcing supports TWO separate Amazon seller accounts, so your job never depends on one account staying healthy. If one hits a rough patch, the team keeps working.

We consider ourselves one of the best sourcing teams in the space, and we're selective. We've hired 40 VAs and kept 6. Most of the ones who left overstated their experience, and our trial exposes that within the first 3-4 days. Real sourcers pass without trouble and end up on a team that matches their skill level.

The company is owned by Ian and Thomas, who are closely involved, fair, and generous toward people who perform. They're building something meant to last.

THE PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR
A sourcer at heart. Someone who lives for the next deal and treats finding a winning lead as the best part of the job.

REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- At least 4 years of hands-on Amazon product sourcing (online arbitrage), finding deals day in and day out
- Valid references from past employers that we can contact and verify
- Working knowledge of Keepa and SellerAmp

EXPERIENCE THAT DOES NOT COUNT
Managing Amazon accounts, private label, wholesale, running a team, and general "Amazon VA" work don't count toward the 4 years. Only years spent sourcing products count. If your background is mostly in those areas, please don't apply.

THE STANDARD
Every lead you submit must meet both of these:
- 50% ROI minimum
- $7 profit per unit minimum
That's the baseline, not a stretch goal. If those numbers scare you, this isn't the job for you, and that's completely fine.

WHAT YOUR DAYS LOOK LIKE
- Find profitable, approvable leads using Keepa and SellerAmp
- Log and deliver your leads in Google Sheets
- Catch the deal-killers: gated and restricted brands, Amazon on the listing, price history collapses, variation mismatches, IP-complaint brands
- Deliver 10 quality leads per shift (8 is the minimum for a full shift)

HOW WE TRACK TIME
Every VA on the team is tracked on Hubstaff, which takes a screenshot of your screen every 2 minutes. It keeps the time clock trustworthy for everyone. If you work with integrity, you'll never think about it. If you have bad intentions, please skip this posting.

YOUR SCHEDULE
Choose at least 4 weekdays to work. Weekends are open too. The only fixed requirement is 40 hours per week. Your days are set for the 14-day trial, and after that you can submit your availability week to week.

- Accuracy, honesty, and consistency, including telling us when you're unsure about a lead
- A long-term home, not a short-term gig

HOW TO APPLY (applications that skip a step are deleted unread)

1. A GOOD resume. It needs real thought, real detail, and accurate information, not a quick one produced by ChatGPT or Claude. Name your tools, categories, and results from your sourcing work, and be honest.
