About the Role
I am looking for an E-Commerce QA & Implementation Specialist (Associate Level) to support my growing operations. This is a full-time position with dedicated hours.
In this role, you will be my primary line of defense for quality—testing a merchant-facing e-commerce application that integrates directly with Shopify stores. You will review user experiences, validate bug fixes, and ensure design, functional, and responsive accuracy across mobile and desktop before anything goes live. You will also assist with app configurations, basic code tweaks, and day-to-day client support tickets.
I need someone with real-world experience who understands web app testing and front-end troubleshooting, and who can take ownership without needing step-by-step hand-holding.
Key Responsibilities
*Application & Integration Testing: Thoroughly test core app functionality, user interfaces, responsive layouts, and edge-case workflows as they appear on live e-commerce storefronts.
*Troubleshooting & Bug Reporting: Use Chrome DevTools to inspect front-end issues, isolate script or visual bugs, and log detailed reports with clear reproduction steps for our developers.
*App Setup & Site Tweaks: Perform app settings configurations for merchants and make basic HTML/CSS adjustments when needed.
*Direct Support: Collaborate directly with me, our development team, and support channels to verify technical fixes and keep client tickets moving smoothly.
Requirements
*Track Record: Minimum 1 year of direct, professional work experience in web QA, technical web support, or web application testing.
*E-Commerce Familiarity: Understanding of how e-commerce storefronts work (particularly Shopify environments).
*Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated, hands-on ability with HTML & CSS to inspect, troubleshoot, and apply minor front-end fixes.
*Testing Tools: Practical experience using browser inspection tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools) to debug front-end issues, network activity, or visual defects.
*Workflow Tools: Active experience managing tickets and issues within platforms like Jira, Zendesk, Freshdesk, or HubSpot.
*Communication: Exceptional written English for drafting detailed, developer-ready bug reports.
Preferred Experience
*Familiarity with basic JavaScript or executing A/B testing variations.
