Part Time
$65/week
TBD
Sep 19, 2026
Hi, I'm Toni! I run TopSheets, a growing digital product business selling spreadsheet templates (Google Sheets + Excel) on Etsy and my own website in four languages. I need a creative VA to handle the recurring design and content work that keeps the business visible: Pinterest pins, listing graphics, and short-form social content.
This is batch, repetitive, template-driven work — you'll get very fast at it. For example, a typical week might be entirely focused on converting one template to the new listing style: creating those listing pages in 3 different color palette variations, then adapting each of those across our 4 language editions (translations provided to you — no translation work required). That's a dozen-plus finished images from one template, all in the new style and following the same layout. If you like production-style creative work where you get faster and more precise the more you do it, this is a great fit.
This is a part-time role built around a weekly task list — I send you the list at the start of the week, you deliver by the end of the week. You choose your own hours. No time tracking, no fixed schedule. I care about finished work, not hours online.
What You'll Do
**Canva / Listing Design (core, repetitive work):**
- Create/upgrade listing image sets for Etsy and my website: device mockups, feature-highlight slides, "what's included" graphics
- Batch-produce color palette variations of the same listing set (e.g., 3 palettes per template)
- Adapt existing graphics into German, Spanish, and French editions — translated text provided by me, you handle the layout
- Update graphics for bundles and seasonal refreshes using existing templates
- **The main project:** I'm upgrading all my existing listing pages to a new style — I have a style guide to work from, and the job is adapting my current listing images into this new style across the whole catalog. Once you've done a couple, it's the same repeatable process for every template. All future listing mockups (new templates, bundles, seasonal updates) will also follow this new style going forward
- **Reference:** browse my current Etsy shop here:
- You'll work inside a dedicated Canva workspace folder I'll set up and share with you (edit access) — this gives you everything you need, and lets me request small tweaks to existing mockups down the line
**Pinterest:**
- Design pins in Canva using my brand templates (static + video pins)
- Deliver a set number of finished pins each week — I handle scheduling and descriptions myself
**Social media content (growing part of the role):**
- Create short-form reels/TikToks showing our templates in use — aesthetic, satisfying, planner-community style content
- This becomes a bigger share of the weekly list over time
Requirements
- Strong Canva skills — portfolio required
- Comfortable with batch/repetitive production work and keeping variations organized and on-brand
- Detail-oriented: color consistency, correct text swaps across language versions, no leftover placeholder text
- Strong written English
- Reliable internet
- Organized: consistent file naming, uses Google Drive, communicates proactively if something is unclear or delayed
- Bonus (not required): video editing skills for Reels/Shorts, Pinterest marketing experience, or interest in the planner/stationery content niche
Pay & Process
- **Paid trial week:** I will hire 3 candidates for a one-week paid trial ($45 flat). Everyone gets the same task list and reference assets. One person gets the ongoing role.
- **Ongoing:** flat weekly rate of $65/week for approximately 8–10 hours of tasks, paid weekly via [Wise/PayPal/Payoneer].
- Long-term role, with the social media content piece growing over time as we build that side of the business.
How to Apply
1. Start your application with the word **PALETTE** so I know you read this posting.
2. Link a Canva portfolio or 3–5 examples of design work (listing images, social graphics, mockups). Tell me in one line what YOU did on each.
3. Link 1–2 examples of Pinterest pins you've designed, if you have any. Bonus if you can also name the Pinterest profiles you've managed or created for.
4. Link 1–2 examples of short-form vertical content (Reels/TikToks) you've edited, if you have any — not required, but a plus. Bonus if you can also name accounts you've managed or created content for.
5. In 2–3 sentences, tell me: how do you stay organized when producing lots of variations of the same design (different colors, different languages, etc.)?
6. Link one Instagram or TikTok account (any brand) whose short-form content style you love, and tell me in one sentence why.
Applications that don't follow these steps will not be considered. If anything here needs clarification, feel free to ask before applying. Thanks, and I'm excited to meet you!
