JOB OVERVIEW

We're MakeFans, a small creator-management agency building handmade brands for a tiny roster of creators. We're hiring a dedicated editor for our cozy homewife lifestyle brands: a real home, cooking and garden moments, a voice that feels like a good friend. Warm and calm on the surface, but never slow: something happens every 2 to 3 seconds, and our audience recognizes the brand by sound alone.

What you'll edit: Instagram Reels, 15 to 30 seconds, in CapCut desktop. Tight trimming, layered domestic sound design, clean captions, double exports. Two jobs in one seat: edit new reels end to end, and remake proven winners into fresh variants. Once ramped, the pace is 10 to 20 reels a day within a 24 to 48 hour turnaround, about 4 to 5 focused hours.

What we need: experience with short-form vertical content (show us, don't tell us), strong pacing instincts, confident sound work, a laptop that handles raw vertical footage, stable internet (50+ Mbps download), fluent written English (B2+), and at least 4 hours a day without another part-time job competing for them.

What you get: $3–5/hour based on experience, bonuses when your edits outperform, weekly pay (timesheets close Wednesday, paid Monday), a documented playbook, and direct written feedback from the founder. Fully remote, flexible hours, long-term seat.

How it works: application form → automated checks → a short reel-analysis test → one paid practical edit from real footage → a call with the founder. No unpaid work, no five-round interviews, and we will never ask you for money, card details, or paid "training" at any stage.
