JOB OVERVIEW

We're a fast-scaling DTC brand in the beauty/wellness device space. We run real ad budgets, test creatives daily, and track everything on ROAS, hold rate, and thumb-stop. You cut it today, it hits thousands of people tomorrow, and you see exactly what it did.

We're hiring one editor who is addicted to that feedback loop. Not a generalist. Not someone who "also does video."

? WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO:

Cut long-form VSLs (60 sec – 5 min) built to sell, not just look pretty.
Cut UGC ads from raw creator footage — you'll get 2 takes per block and pick the one that holds.
Build hooks, captions, pattern interrupts, and pacing that get cold traffic past the 3-second wall.
Generate custom AI b-roll when stock footage is too boring (Runway, Kling, Midjourney, Higgsfield, Veo - your choice, as long as it looks real).
Ship fast variations: when something wins, we want 5 angles by end of day, same-day.
Sync ElevenLabs voiceover blocks to visuals cleanly, no drift.

✅ MUST-HAVES (no exceptions):

2+ years cutting paid ads - not weddings, not YouTube vlogs, not corporate.
Premiere Pro or After Effects at a level where the tool disappears. CapCut for speed is fine.
You think in Problem–Agitation–Solution. You know what a hook, a lead, and a close are.
AI is already in your daily workflow — generative b-roll, upscaling, generative fill, VO.
You can read a metrics dashboard and know which number to chase.
Solid written English (you'll be writing captions and reading briefs).
Fast internet and a machine that can handle AE renders.

You've worked inside an ad account and seen the data yourself.
Motion graphics / kinetic typography.
