About Us
Blitz Roofing and Construction is a growing commercial and residential roofing contractor based in Orlando, Florida. About 70% of our work is commercial. We're looking for a long-term team member who can produce accurate commercial roofing estimates and keep our bid pipeline full.

What You'll Do

Estimating (primary role)

• Perform roof takeoffs from plans, drawings, and aerial reports
• Build estimates for commercial systems: TPO, PVC, modified bitumen, built-up, metal, and roof coatings
• Calculate materials, labor, and accessories (insulation, flashing, drains, edge metal, etc.)
• Prepare clean, professional proposals for our review
• Track bid due dates and submit bids on time

Lead Generation (when not estimating)

• Search ConstructConnect, BuildingConnected, PlanHub, Dodge, and similar platforms for commercial projects in Florida
• Identify general contractors, property managers, and owners bidding roofing work
• Download plans and specs, and qualify projects that fit our scope
• Keep a lead and bid tracker organized and up to date
• Draft outreach emails to GCs and prospects

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience for U.S. contractors (required)
• Skilled in takeoff software such as STACK, or similar
• Can read construction plans, roof plans, and specs
• Familiarity with ConstructConnect or other bid-lead platforms is a big plus
• Strong written English and attention to detail
• Reliable internet, a dedicated workspace, and a backup power source

Nice to Have

• Experience with EagleView or aerial measurement reports
• Florida or hurricane-zone roofing knowledge (wind uplift, FL product approvals)
• CRM experience with AccuLynx but not required
