JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for a **reliable, hardworking short-form video editor** who can work with me long-term and handle a **high volume of videos with fast turnaround times.**

### PAY
**$5 USD per completed video — fixed rate.**

This position is $5 per completed video, no more and no less. Please only apply if you are comfortable with this rate.

There is an opportunity for a **large amount of consistent work** for the right editor. I create a lot of content and am looking for someone I can regularly send videos to.

### WHAT YOU’LL BE EDITING
You should be comfortable editing:

- Short-form UGC content
- TikTok videos
- Instagram Reels
- Creator/personal brand content
- Fitness and lifestyle content
- Talking-head videos
- Raw footage that needs to be turned into polished short-form content
- Trend-style videos that may require recreating the pacing/style of a reference video
- Captions, text overlays, music, sound effects, transitions, B-roll, and other elements when appropriate

I need someone who understands **modern short-form content** and can make videos feel fast-paced, engaging, and native to TikTok and Instagram rather than overly edited or outdated.

### TURNAROUND TIME
**12 hours or less is expected for most videos.**

Fast communication and turnaround are extremely important to me. I need someone who checks messages regularly and can get to work quickly when footage is sent.

### WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR
I want someone who is:

- Hardworking and motivated
- Reliable and consistent
- Able to handle **high volume**
- Able to follow detailed instructions
- Creative enough to use their own judgment when something could be improved
- Familiar with current TikTok/Reels editing styles
- Detail-oriented
- Easy to communicate with
- Interested in consistent, long-term work
- Able to meet deadlines without needing to be constantly reminded

I will provide instructions and references when necessary, but I also want you to use your own creative judgment. If you think a different clip, transition, cut, or editing decision would make the video better, I want you to be able to recognize that.

### TEST EDITS
Before being hired, you will be asked to complete **1–2 test edits.**

**The test edits are unpaid unless I d ---------- the finished edit is good enough that I want to use it. If I want to use your test edit, I will pay you the normal $5 rate for that video.**

Put real effort into the test. If you create something strong enough for me to actually post and use, you will be paid for it.

The test edits are also an opportunity for me to see your editing quality, communication, ability to follow instructions, and turnaround time.

### LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY
I’m not looking for someone to edit only a few videos. I’m looking for an editor who can become part of my regular workflow.

**If you are fast, reliable, produce high-quality work, and can handle volume, I can provide you with a lot of ongoing work.**
