JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring confident, energetic Live Shopping Hosts to present and sell e-commerce products during live online shopping shows for a U.S. audience.

You will NOT need to show your face on the livestream. During your shift, you will share your screen and display still images of products while speaking to viewers. Your voice, spoken English, personality, energy, and ability to sell are the most important parts of this role.

IMPORTANT — WHATSAPP REQUIRED:

What you’ll do
Host live online shopping shows using screen sharing
Display still images of mugs and tumblers during auctions
Introduce and describe new product designs
Speak naturally and enthusiastically with a U.S. audience
Read and respond to live viewer comments
Encourage bidding and participation without sounding overly pushy
Keep the show entertaining and moving at a good pace
Follow product queues and simple pricing/show guidelines
Receive real-time coaching and feedback from our team
Help us identify which designs and presentation styles perform best

What the livestream looks like

You will not appear on camera and you will not physically hold the products.

Viewers will see product images on screen while you host the livestream using your voice.

Think of the role as a combination of a radio host, livestream presenter, and salesperson.

Comfortable selling and encouraging customers to bid
Coachable and comfortable receiving live feedback

Able to work an 8-hour shift
Active WhatsApp account and phone number required

Sales, livestreaming, customer service, call-center, radio, podcasting, or hosting experience is helpful, but voice quality, English fluency, personality, and sales instinct are more important than previous experience.

Interview process

The majority of our hiring process is asynchronous, so you will not need to attend multiple live interviews.

Applicants who move forward will be contacted through WhatsApp.

The selection process will include:

Short voice-recording test — we want to hear your English fluency, pronunciation, tone and personality.
Product presentation video test — you will receive product images and record yourself presenting/selling them as if you were hosting a live shopping show.
Longer mock-hosting test for selected candidates to evaluate improvisation, energy and consistency.
Final live video interview with our team.

You do not need professional recording equipment. A smartphone or computer with clear audio is sufficient.

Compensation

$4–$6 USD/hour depending on experience + 5% commission on the sales revenue you personally generate during your shifts.

Strong hosts can therefore earn substantially more than the base hourly rate based on their sales performance.

High performers may also receive:

additional shifts
increased base pay
greater responsibilities
long-term opportunities as the operation grows

Hours: Approximately 40 hours/week, generally in 8-hour shifts.
