Part-Time Social Media Content Creator

Securing Degrees & Securing Grants
Part-Time | Approximately 10 Hours/Week

Securing Degrees and Securing Grants are looking for a creative, efficient Social Media Content Creator to help us consistently produce and publish engaging short-form content across Instagram Reels and TikTok.

This role is primarily focused on faceless short-form content. You’ll use B-roll, screen recordings, text overlays, trending formats, graphics, and existing brand assets to turn information provided by our team into content that gets people to stop scrolling and take action.

What You’ll Create

You’ll be expected to produce and schedule a minimum of 6 short-form videos each week:

* 3 Securing Degrees videos/week — upcoming scholarships, scholarship deadlines, scholarship tips, Securing Degrees platform features, upcoming events, and student opportunities.
* 3 Securing Grants videos/week — upcoming grants, funding deadlines, grant tips, events, services, and other relevant funding opportunities.

Most videos will be approximately 10–30 seconds and created for Instagram Reels and TikTok.

Our team will provide the core scholarship, grant, platform, and event information so that your time can primarily be spent on creative execution, editing, optimization, and publishing rather than extensive research.

Your Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for taking content from idea to published post, including:

* Creating and editing a minimum of 6 short-form videos per week.
* Finding and incorporating relevant B-roll, screen recordings, graphics, trending audio, and other visual assets.
* Developing engaging hooks, on-screen text, transitions, and calls to action.
* Creating content that highlights upcoming scholarships and grant opportunities.
* Showcasing Securing Degrees platform features and upcoming events.
* Repurposing existing footage and brand assets into short-form content.
* Using AI tools to help develop and optimize captions, hooks, and calls to action.
* Scheduling approved content across our social media platforms.
* Using ManyChat to optimize Instagram content for lead generation and engagement, including comment-to-DM and keyword automations when applicable.
* Connecting Reel calls to action with the appropriate ManyChat flow, resource, opportunity, event, or platform link.
* Testing different hooks, formats, and CTAs to continuously improve content performance.
* Maintaining an organized weekly content calendar.

Weekly Expectations

This position is approximately 10 hours per week and is deliverable-focused.

Each week, you should complete and schedule a minimum of:

6 Short-Form Videos

* 3 Scholarship/Securing Degrees videos
* 3 Grant/Securing Grants videos

This includes editing, captions, scheduling, and applicable ManyChat optimization.

Because most videos are 10–30 seconds and will use repeatable content formats, we’re looking for someone who can build an efficient content creation system while maintaining quality and consistency.

We’re Looking for Someone Who

* Has experience creating Instagram Reels, TikToks, or similar short-form content.
* Understands faceless content creation using B-roll, text, screen recordings, graphics, and trending formats.
* Understands hooks, pacing, retention, and strong calls to action.
* Can edit using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools.
* Is comfortable using AI tools to improve content workflows.
* Has experience with ManyChat or is comfortable quickly learning how to build and manage simple ManyChat automations.
* Understands that social media content should not just generate views—it should encourage the audience to take the next step.
* Can follow established brand guidelines while bringing new creative ideas.
* Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
* Can consistently meet weekly content deadlines.
