Video Editor (Full-Time) — YouTube & Podcast Content

Job Description:
We're looking for a full-time Video Editor to handle editing for our YouTube channel and podcast. You'll take raw footage and turn it into polished, engaging videos on a consistent weekly schedule. This is a ongoing role, not project-based.

Job Role/Responsibilities:

Edit 3 long-form YouTube videos per week (16–24 minutes each), from raw footage to publish-ready
Design custom thumbnails for every video
Meet weekly deadlines consistently
As capacity allows: edit 4–5 podcast episodes/week for YouTube, cut 3–10 min clips from podcasts, and create YouTube Shorts from long-form/podcast content

Job Requirements:

Strong portfolio/reel of YouTube editing work (please include links)
Good sense of pacing, hooks, and audience retention
Experience with thumbnail design, color correction, audio cleanup, and captioning
Reliable internet, own equipment, and ability to hit deadlines with minimal supervision
Bonus: podcast editing and short-form/clip experience

Pay: $13/hour
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Working Hours/Overlap: No fixed hours, but we will want to coordinate an occasional video call
Work Setup: Fully remote, home-based
