We're hiring another talented YouTube video editor to join our growing content team long-term.
We're specifically looking for editors who already have strong experience producing polished long-form YouTube content — especially talking-head, business, personal brand, real estate, podcast, or educational content.
This is intended to become a full-time position.
The first month will begin as a PAID part-time training/trial period. During that time, you'll work directly with our existing editing team, learn our style and workflow, edit real projects, receive feedback, and show us how well you can adapt and improve.
If it's a strong fit on both sides, the goal is to transition you into a full-time role.
FULL-TIME COMPENSATION
$1,000-$2,000 USD/month depending on your ability, experience, communication, and performance.
There is room to grow beyond this over time as you become more valuable to the team and take on additional responsibility.
ABOUT US
We're a U.S.-based content and social media agency working primarily with real estate professionals, business owners, and personal brands.
I've personally been creating content for more than 7 years and have built an audience of more than 1 million followers across social media.
We now have a growing agency, multiple clients, an established editing team, and consistent work.
This isn't a short-term freelance project where we'll need a few videos and disappear.
We're looking for editors who want consistent work, want to become excellent at what they do, and would like to grow with the team long-term.
THE ROLE
Most of your work will be long-form YouTube content, primarily:
• Talking-head business videos
• Educational YouTube videos
• Real estate content
• Personal brand content
• Podcast-style content
• Approximately 8-20+ minute videos
• Occasional Shorts, Reels, and TikToks
We're looking for someone who can take raw footage and turn it into a polished, professional, engaging piece of content.
The editing should feel premium enough for established business owners while still being engaging enough to hold attention on YouTube and social media.
We want editors who understand storytelling and viewer retention — not someone who simply cuts out mistakes and exports the video.
Your edits may include:
• Strong pacing and storytelling
• Relevant B-roll
• Music and sound design
• Clean text and graphics
• Motion graphics when appropriate
• Visual changes and reframing
• Screenshots, images, articles, maps, or supporting visuals
• Creative use of AI-generated visuals where appropriate
• Other creative elements that help explain or strengthen the story
We don't want unnecessary effects just for the sake of making something flashy.
Every visual choice should help make the video clearer, more engaging, or more interesting to watch.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You should:
• Have strong experience editing long-form YouTube content
• Understand talking-head and business content
• Have good creative judgment
• Understand pacing, storytelling, and retention
• Be able to create clean and professional graphics
• Know how to select relevant B-roll and supporting visuals
• Have strong attention to detail
• Communicate clearly and professionally
• Work well with a team
• Be reliable and consistent
• Take feedback well
• Be coachable and willing to improve
• Be comfortable making revisions
• Be able to follow an established editing style
• Also bring your own creative ideas when appropriate
• Be interested in a long-term position
You do NOT need to already edit exactly like our current team.
We care about strong fundamentals, creativity, professionalism, and your ability to learn our system.
HOW TO APPLY
Please follow these instructions carefully.
Generic or AI-generated applications will be disregarded.
Start your application with:

3. Send your best short-form edit if you have one.
4. What editing software do you primarily use?
5. Are you currently working with any other clients or companies?
6. How many hours per week are you currently available?
7. What monthly salary would you expect if you transitioned into a full-time role?
8. Choose ONE of the long-form videos you submitted and briefly explain one editing decision you made that you believe improved the video.
9. Send a short 60-second video introducing yourself.
In the video, tell us:
• Your name
• How long you've been editing
• What type of videos you enjoy editing most
• One thing you believe separates a great YouTube editor from an average one
A simple phone or webcam recording is completely fine.
Selected applicants will be invited to complete a short paid editing test using real footage from our team.
The strongest candidates will then move into our paid part-time training/trial period with the opportunity to become a long-term full-time member of our editing team.
If you're talented, professional, easy to work with, open to feedback, and want consistent work with a growing content company, we'd love to hear from you.
