JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for a reliable research assistant to help identify artists, producers and songwriters who may be relevant for music catalogue opportunities.

The role is primarily research-focused. You’ll be given criteria such as territory, genre and streaming range, and your job will be to find suitable artists/producers, verify the information and organise it clearly in a spreadsheet.

Responsibilities include researching artists, producers and songwriters, checking Spotify and other music platforms for relevant data, finding management / booking / official contact details, verifying information using sources such as Spotify, Instagram, Songstats, Genius or Discogs, and keeping research organised and accurate.

This is not a sales or outreach role. You will not be responsible for contacting artists, negotiating deals or closing transactions.

You should have strong online research skills, be comfortable using Spotify, Instagram and music-industry platforms, have good attention to detail, follow instructions accurately, write clearly in English, and be organised and reliable. Previous music-industry research or lead-generation experience is preferred.

Application Test
Please find 5 UK Rap artists with between 100,000 and 5 million Spotify monthly listeners.
For each artist, provide:
* Artist name
* Spotify link
* Monthly listeners
* Instagram link
* Valid contact email and source

Please submit the test in a spreadsheet, excel or google sheets.
