JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to provide part-time tax support for US-based LLCs.

Responsibilities
Prepare and/or assist with US tax returns for LLCs
Navigate QuickBooks Online to locate and review the financial reports needed for tax preparation
Review P&L, Balance Sheet, General Ledger, and other relevant reports
Identify and request any additional information or reports needed for tax filing
Ensure tax filings are prepared accurately and in compliance with applicable US tax requirements
Sign the tax forms/returns as the authorized tax professional/paid preparer for submission to the IRS, as applicable
Coordinate with the bookkeeping team when clarification or additional information is needed

Requirements
Active US CPA license
Experience preparing US tax returns for LLCs
Good knowledge of US tax regulations and requirements
Comfortable navigating QuickBooks Online and extracting relevant reports
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and organizational skills
Able to work independently
Note: This position does not involve day-to-day bookkeeping or accounting. The primary focus is on US tax preparation, reviewing financial reports in QuickBooks Online, and completing/signing the appropriate tax forms for submission to the IRS.
