JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing e-commerce brand. We are looking for a reliable and organised Operations Assistant to help manage daily business activities on a part-time basis.

Schedule and Pay

- Monday to Friday
- 4 hours per day during UK morning business hours
- 20 hours per week
- Starting pay: Up to $4.50 per hour
- Two-week paid trial
- Opportunity for increased pay as the business grows

About the Role

This is an entry-level role with real responsibility from day one. You will own our daily actions tracker, keeping it up to date and making sure tasks are progressed and nothing is missed.

Main Responsibilities

- Own and maintain the daily actions tracker
- Chase and communicate with third-party suppliers
- Update and manage Shopify product pages
- Update and synchronise data across Google Sheets trackers
- Create written and video SOPs to document processes
- Draft emails and handle written communications
- Create simple social media content using Canva
- Set up calendar reminders and schedule tasks
- Send a clear daily report summarising progress and any blockers

Requirements

- Strong written and spoken English
- Organised and detail-focused
- Comfortable working independently
- Confident using Google Sheets
- Familiar with Canva or willing to learn quickly
- Comfortable making calls and sending messages on behalf of the business
- Reliable internet connection and a backup plan
- Experience with Trello, Slack, or similar tools is a bonus
- E-commerce or online business experience is a bonus

What to Expect

You will be supported and guided throughout, especially in the early weeks. The right person will have clear processes to follow and the opportunity to grow with the business as it scales.
