Stellenanzeige – Remote Marketplace Buyer
Marketplace Buyer / E-Commerce Purchasing Assistant (Remote) Full-Time | 40 hours/week
We are a fast-growing German recommerce company purchasing consumer electronics such as smartphones, gaming consoles, cameras, headphones and other electronics from private sellers across online marketplaces.
We are looking for highly focused and reliable Marketplace Buyers to join our purchasing team.
Your job
You will search marketplaces such as eBay, Kleinanzeigen and Vinted for products matching our purchasing criteria. You will evaluate listings according to our guidelines, send offers, communicate with sellers where necessary and complete purchases within predefined price limits.
You do not need previous professional purchasing experience. We provide clear purchasing prices, product priorities, templates, scam-prevention guidelines and training.
What we're looking for
• Very high attention to detail
• Ability to stay focused during repetitive online work
• Fast and accurate computer skills
• Reliable and disciplined working style
• Good written English (you can also use our translator)
• Ability to follow clear rules and processes
• Basic understanding of online marketplaces is helpful
• Experience with e-commerce, electronics, eBay or similar platforms is a plus
German is not required. German communication can largely be handled through predefined templates and internal tools.
What success looks like
Your goal is not simply to buy as many products as possible. A successful Buyer purchases the right products at the right price while avoiding fraudulent or suspicious sellers.
Performance will therefore be measured through purchasing volume, adherence to maximum purchase prices, accuracy, productivity and quality.
