Procurement & Logistics Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, proactive, and hands-on Procurement & Logistics Manager with specialized experience in the Amazon ecosystem (FBA/FBM). In this role, you will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, from global vendor sourcing and purchase order management to international freight forwarding, 3PL hub management, and inbound distribution into Amazon Fulfillment Centers.

Your primary focus will be maintaining optimal stock levels, protecting inventory health metrics (IPI score), optimizing total landed costs, and building resilient supplier partnerships to support scalable e-commerce growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Amazon Inventory & FBA Operations Management
Manage daily FBA inventory workflows within Amazon Seller Central (and/or Vendor Central), including shipping plan creation, box content information, pallet specifications, and tracking inbound shipments.
Continuously monitor and optimize Inventory Performance Index (IPI) scores, restock limits, capacity limits, and aged inventory metrics to minimize overage and storage fees while preventing stockouts.
Ensure 100% compliance with Amazon prep, labeling, packaging, and routing requirements to eliminate prep chargebacks, processing delays, or vendor chargebacks.
Coordinate stock transfers between 3PL warehouses and Amazon FCs based on regional velocity, seasonal spikes, and FC receiving lead times.
2. Sourcing, Procurement & Vendor Management
Lead end-to-end purchase order (PO) generation, issuing, and status tracking with overseas and domestic manufacturing partners.
Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), payment terms, and production lead times with suppliers to optimize cash flow and gross margins.
Establish supplier KPI dashboards to evaluate factory performance regarding defect rates, on-time delivery rates, and order fulfillment accuracy.
Identify secondary sourcing options for critical high-velocity SKUs to mitigate single-supplier dependency risks.
3. Global Logistics & Freight Coordination
Oversee international freight forwarding operations (Ocean FCL/LCL, Air Freight, Express Parcel, and DDP/FOB shipments) from factory gates to domestic destinations.
Partner with customs brokers and freight partners to ensure accurate HTS code classification, duty/tariff compliance, and smooth customs clearance.
Calculate, audit, and optimize total landed costs (unit cost + freight + duties + 3PL + Amazon fulfillment fees) to drive bottom-line profitability.
4. Demand Planning & Inventory Forecasting
Build and maintain dynamic demand forecasting models using historical sales velocity, organic search rankings, marketing campaigns, and seasonal events (e.g., Prime Day, Q4 Holiday Season).
Establish target reorder points (ROP), safety stock levels, and replenishment schedules across all product lines.
Perform weekly/monthly inventory reconciliations across Seller Central, 3PL physical stock, and internal ERP/inventory systems.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

Required Experience
3–5+ years of direct experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics for an e-commerce brand.
Must have hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central (Inbound Shipping Plans, FBA Inventory Dashboard, Inventory Performance Index, Restock Limits).
Proven track record managing international freight logistics (specifically Asia-to-US/EU shipping lanes, customs, and ocean/air freight).
Strong command of Excel / Google Sheets (advanced functions: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, forecasting models).
Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and prep centers.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience using supply chain software or ERP tools (e.g., NetSuite, Katana, InventoryLab, RestockPro, or similar).
Knowledge of multi-channel fulfillment models (Walmart Marketplace, Shopify Direct-to-Consumer, TikTok Shop).
