JOB OVERVIEW

Full time, remote
Pay: $3 to $5 USD per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, including seasonal Central Time clock changes
Business: Financial advisory practice serving technology professionals

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring an organized LinkedIn lead generation manager. Your main job is to find relevant people and conversations from LinkedIn feed activity, research each person's fit, prepare thoughtful connection and follow up opportunities, and keep an accurate prospect pipeline. You will also help prepare approved LinkedIn content in Buffer and keep the content calendar organized.

LEAD GENERATION WORK

1. Review feed posts, comments, and public profile links provided through our approved workflow. Find technology professionals who have explicitly shared a relevant career transition or planning question.
2. Verify the correct person and record the public source, the specific signal, and why the person may be relevant. A company layoff announcement alone is not evidence that a particular person was laid off.
3. Check prospects against our criteria and exclusion lists. Flag missing location, prior contact, duplicates, or opt out information instead of guessing.
4. Prepare short, personal connection notes and follow up drafts based on verified details.
5. Maintain a clear prospect tracker showing research, approval status, invitations, replies, follow ups, exclusions, and qualified conversations.
6. Review the available conversation history before recommending a follow up. Escalate financial questions, complaints, client matters, call requests, and unusual personal situations to Jake.
7. Track useful replies and qualified conversations, and suggest improvements based on actual results.

CONTENT AND ORGANIZATION

Keep the LinkedIn content calendar and approved media library organized. Prepare drafts in Buffer using provided content and instructions. Check the account, media, caption, link, disclosure, thumbnail, and intended time. Jake reviews and publishes from his personal profile.

Send a short daily report covering prospects researched, items awaiting review, replies or issues escalated, content prepared, and next actions.

APPROVAL AND ACCOUNT RULES

Jake approves outreach and content. Financial content must complete any required practice review before use. A draft, scheduled date, or silence is not approval. Do not invent financial claims, statistics, promises, testimonials, or personal recommendations. Do not send bulk requests or messages, scrape LinkedIn, or use bots.

Work on Jake's personal LinkedIn profile will be prepared for Jake to send himself. No one will use Jake's personal password or account session. Any outreach from your own professional account must be separately approved and identify you honestly. The approved workflow will be explained during hiring.

WHAT YOU NEED

1. LinkedIn prospect research and relationship based outreach experience, supported by specific examples.
2. Clear written English, careful research, and the ability to explain why a prospect is relevant.
3. Experience maintaining a prospect tracker or CRM and following approval processes.
4. Experience preparing social content. Buffer experience is helpful.
5. A reliable computer, stable internet, backup internet, a quiet workspace, and a working camera and microphone.
6. Reliable availability throughout the stated Central Time workday.

Financial services experience is helpful. You will not provide financial advice.

HOW WE MEASURE SUCCESS

Accurate prospect research, clear source notes, timely follow ups and review queues, relevant outreach drafts, meaningful replies and qualified conversations, organized records, prompt escalations, and reliable daily reporting.

HOW TO APPLY

Complete this application form:
----------

Please prepare:
1. Your résumé as a PDF.
2. A 1 to 2 minute video explaining your relevant experience and a specific task you personally completed.
3. A screenshot of your primary internet speed test showing download and upload speeds.
4. One public or anonymized work sample and an explanation of what you personally created. A small fictional sample is acceptable if previous work is confidential.
5. Two relevant employers and roles, with dates, responsibilities, and former manager or HR contact details if available.
6. One campaign example with its time period, your contribution, and results where tracked. If a metric was unavailable, say so.

PROFILE REVIEW AND STRATEGY

Review Jake’s LinkedIn profile: ----------

In the application form, write 150 words or fewer identifying one thing working well, one specific improvement, and one lead generation approach you would test to reach technology professionals. Explain why and how you would measure success. Refer to something you actually saw on the profile. If you cannot access the profile, explain the limitation rather than guessing.

Google sign in is required for the uploads. Do not submit confidential employer or client information. We will ask your permission before contacting a reference.

Selected applicants will be invited to a paid 30 minute skills assessment using fictional examples, including a short live walkthrough. We check references for finalists with their permission.
