JOB OVERVIEW

Insured By Schulz is looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Representative to help manage leads, prepare quote submissions, support clients, and keep our daily operations organized.

You must have several years of hands-on commercial insurance experience, preferably in U.S. commercial auto and trucking insurance. This is not an entry-level position. We can explain our internal workflow, but you must already understand commercial insurance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to new leads and existing clients
• Respond professionally to texts, emails, and quote inquiries
• Qualify leads and collect the information needed for commercial insurance quotes
• Prepare and process quote submissions through carrier, MGA, and wholesaler portals, within your authorized role
• Review applications for accuracy and follow up on missing documents
• Communicate with underwriters and track pending submissions
• Manage CRM records, update lead stages, document conversations, and schedule follow-ups
• Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the quoting process
• Coordinate policy changes, certificate requests, renewals, and billing inquiries with the appropriate team members
• Track outstanding tasks and keep clients informed
• Handle client information securely and professionally
• Perform sales, coverage discussions, and binding activities only when appropriately licensed and authorized; otherwise, coordinate with our licensed producer

REQUIREMENTS

• Several years of commercial insurance experience
• Excellent spoken and written English—you must communicate clearly and confidently with U.S. clients over the phone, by text, and through email
• Experience with CRMs, lead management, and consistent follow-up
• Hands-on experience preparing commercial insurance applications and processing quote submissions
• Understanding of commercial auto and trucking insurance terminology and required documentation
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple leads and requests
• Reliable internet, a computer, a quality headset, and a quiet workspace
