JOB OVERVIEW

Sweet James Law Firm is seeking an experienced International Legal Recruiter to join our growing team. This is a fully remote recruiting position focused on identifying, attracting, screening, and hiring international legal professionals who support our U.S.-based personal injury law firm.

The ideal candidate has significant recruiting experience, extensive international recruiting experience, and a proven track record recruiting legal assistants and legal support professionals for U.S.-based law firms.

Key Responsibilities
-Full-cycle recruitment for international legal assistants and legal support positions.
-Source high-quality candidates through international job boards, recruiting platforms, professional networks, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
-Recruit candidates who are located internationally to support U.S.-based legal operations.
-Conduct candidate outreach, initial screening, interviews, and qualification assessments.
-Evaluate candidates for legal experience, communication skills, English proficiency, professionalism, reliability, and ability to work effectively with U.S.-based teams.
-Maintain an active pipeline of qualified international legal talent for anticipated and immediate openings.
-Manage multiple openings simultaneously and consistently meet recruiting goals and hiring timelines.
-Coordinate interviews and facilitate candidates through the hiring process.
-Maintain accurate recruiting records and provide regular updates on candidate pipelines and hiring activity.
-Help identify recruiting trends, new sourcing channels, and strategies for improving international hiring.
-Partner closely with HR and department leadership to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
-Will work under the supervision of Senior HR Generalist and assist to some HR-related tasks
-Represent Sweet James professionally throughout the candidate experience.

Required Qualifications
-Experience recruiting for personal injury law firms or other high-volume litigation practices.
-Existing international recruiting networks and sourcing channels.
-Experience recruiting talent from regions such as Latin America, the Philippines, Eastern Europe, or other international markets.
-Experience recruiting for remote legal support teams.
-Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and modern recruiting platforms.
-Proven experience recruiting internationally for U.S.-based law firms.
-Experience recruiting legal assistants, paralegals, legal support staff, intake specialists, case managers, or similar legal professionals.
-Demonstrated ability to source candidates internationally and build strong candidate pipelines.
-Excellent interviewing and candidate-assessment skills.
-Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open positions and candidates simultaneously.
-Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
-Strong follow-through, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
-Ability to work effectively with U.S.-based hiring managers and teams.
