JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for a creative and reliable TikTok Shop short-form video editor to work with me on an ongoing basis.

I am an active TikTok Shop LIVE seller and am looking to increase the amount of shoppable video content I post. I will provide raw product footage, product information/listings, and direction when needed. Your job will be to turn that footage into engaging, polished TikTok Shop videos.

This is a very part-time position to start, approximately 5–10 short-form videos per week. The workload may vary from week to week, and there is potential for the position to grow over time.

What I need:

Edit approximately 5–10 TikTok Shop videos per week
Most videos will be approximately 15–60 seconds
Create a strong hook within the first 1–3 seconds
Add engaging on-screen text and captions
Add appropriate music, sound effects, transitions and cuts
Highlight product benefits and selling points
Add a clear call-to-action when appropriate
Turn raw footage into a finished video without needing step-by-step instructions for every edit
Upload completed videos to our shared Google Drive

Ideal candidate:

Experience editing TikTok, Reels or other short-form content
CapCut experience preferred
TikTok Shop/e-commerce experience is a big plus
Understands hooks, retention and fast-paced short-form content
Creative and able to suggest improvements
Good written English
Reliable communication and turnaround times
Interested in a long-term working relationship

Pay:
This position can be hourly or per completed video depending on experience and your preferred arrangement. Please include your expected hourly rate and/or rate per completed short-form video when applying.
