JOB OVERVIEW

Freelance Graphic Designer – Adobe Illustrator / Print Ready Artwork

We’re looking for an experienced Graphic Designer / Artworker to support our promotional merchandise business on a freelance, remote basis.

The role is mainly about taking customer logos, brand guidelines and artwork and turning them into accurate, print-ready artwork for promotional products.

You’ll be working on products such as bags, bottles, notebooks, pens, clothing, mugs and other branded merchandise.

What we need you to do
Prepare print-ready artwork using Adobe Illustrator
Work accurately with customer brand identity guidelines
Check logos, colours, fonts and positioning
Apply customer artwork to promotional product templates
Create clear artwork visuals/proofs showing how the finished product will look
Set artwork to the correct print area and dimensions
Work with Pantone / spot colours, CMYK and full-colour artwork
Convert fonts to outlines and ensure artwork is properly vectorised
Check artwork is suitable for different branding methods such as screen printing, transfer printing, embroidery, engraving and digital print
Supply correctly prepared AI, EPS and print-ready PDF files
Make artwork amendments following customer feedback
Keep artwork organised and clearly named
What we're looking for

You must be highly confident using Adobe Illustrator and have a good understanding of preparing artwork for professional print.

Accuracy is really important to us. Our customers have strict brand guidelines, so we need someone who notices the little things incorrect colours, stretched logos, wrong spacing, positioning or artwork that isn't suitable for the chosen print method.

Experience working with promotional merchandise, branded clothing, print, signage or packaging would be a big advantage.

We’re a friendly team and would ideally like to find someone we can build a long-term working relationship with as our artwork requirements grow.
