JOB OVERVIEW

We’re an Australian company looking for a hands-on Retention Marketing Specialist to take ownership of retention across our portfolio of e-commerce brands and five websites.

We have established customer databases and significant opportunity to do more with them. We need someone who can get into the detail, identify what we're missing and unlock more revenue from the customers and lists we already have.
You’ll own the technical, strategic and performance side of our retention activity.

What you’ll be doing
• Auditing and optimising our existing Klaviyo accounts
• Cleaning and maintaining lists, segments and customer data
• Reviewing, building and continually optimising automated flows
• Developing smarter segmentation and campaign targeting
• Improving repeat purchase, retention and customer lifetime value
• Improving list growth, database health and deliverability
• Developing an ongoing A/B testing and optimisation program
• Using Okendo and Instant more effectively within our retention strategy
• Tracking retention performance and identifying revenue opportunities
• Working closely with our marketing, e-commerce and creative teams
• Helping us assess a potential future move from Klaviyo to Omnisend, and supporting or managing the migration if we proceed

What we’re looking for
• Strong hands-on Klaviyo experience within e-commerce
• Deep understanding of segmentation, flows, list management and lifecycle marketing
• Strong analytical skills and a commercial approach to retention
• Experience improving email/SMS performance and retention revenue
• Strong understanding of deliverability and database health
• Comfortable getting into the platforms and implementing your own recommendations
• Able to manage multiple brands, websites and customer databases
• Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented

Experience with Omnisend, Mailchimp, Okendo, Instant and Shopify would be highly regarded. Experience with an ESP migration, particularly Klaviyo to Omnisend or similar, would be a significant advantage.

We’re looking for someone who can look beyond sending the next email and help us build a stronger, more sophisticated and commercially effective retention program.

Hours: Full-time, AU timezone
Location: Remote

To apply, tell us about your Klaviyo and e-commerce retention experience, which platforms you have worked with (Klaviyo, Omnisend, Mailchimp, Okendo, Instant or others), and give us an example of a retention initiative you personally implemented that delivered a measurable improvement in performance.

Please include a link to your resume and any other information you’d like to include.
