Full-time remote position | Philippines-based applicants welcome

Journey Psyche and Lyons Cards are seeking an experienced website developer to manage and improve our existing WordPress and Shopify websites.

Journey Psyche provides mental health services. Lyons Cards sells sports cards and collectibles and produces live card shows and breaks. You must be comfortable supporting both businesses.

We need someone who takes ownership of website performance, completes work reliably and flags problems promptly.

Responsibilities

* Maintain and improve Journey Psyche’s WordPress website and Lyons Cards’ Shopify store.
* Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript—not just page-builder tools.
* Build and update landing pages, product pages, blogs, navigation, forms and mobile layouts.
* Manage WordPress themes, plugins, updates, backups and security maintenance.
* Troubleshoot hosting, domains, DNS, SSL certificates and website availability.
* Configure and test supported payment integrations and customer checkout flows. Coordinate account approvals with management and flag anything preventing sales.
* Maintain Google Search Console, submit sitemaps, monitor indexing and resolve technical issues affecting discoverability.
* Maintain redirects, page titles, descriptions and internal links.
* Test booking, inquiry, shopping and checkout journeys after relevant changes.
* Work with our design, content and marketing team to publish accurate, consistent material.
* Keep a task tracker with owners, deadlines, completed links and unresolved blockers.
* Maintain company access and document changes so another team member can support the websites.

Required experience

* Demonstrated Shopify Liquid development experience.
* Strong WordPress development and maintenance skills.
* Working knowledge of hosting, DNS, SSL, backups and technical troubleshooting.
* Experience with Google Search Console and technical SEO.
* Experience testing payment integrations, checkout and website forms.
* Clear written and spoken English.
* Reliable availability, communication and follow-through.

Working expectations

This is a hands-on role supporting existing websites. We are not planning a platform migration as the first assignment.

You must be available during an agreed schedule with overlap with our US team. We use Hubstaff for time tracking and require concise daily progress updates.

If something is blocked, explain the issue, what you have tried and what is needed to resolve it. Problems must be raised before they delay a launch, booking or sale.

2. One specific example of custom Shopify Liquid work.
3. One example of a payment, hosting or indexing problem you diagnosed and resolved.

5. Your earliest start date and available working hours, including your time zone.
6. Any other commitments that would affect the proposed schedule.

Please state clearly if your experience is stronger in one platform. We may also consider a dedicated Shopify Liquid specialist alongside a WordPress website manager.
