JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a young but reliable Part-Time Video Editor to transform educational lesson audio clips and podcast chit-chat segments into engaging video format. We invite applications from reliable persons capable of fast turnarounds, clear messaging, and clean text callouts (over overly complex animation).

This position begins with a Paid 1-Week Trial to evaluate your editing output, turnaround speed, and our mutual workflow. If successful, this will transition into an ongoing role with the potential for increased hours and greater schedule flexibility in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
Edit lesson recordings and podcast audio clips into video using CapCut Desktop.
Apply styled text animations, quote overlays, and lower-third graphic presets.
Design clean split-screen or floating frame layouts for podcast chit-chat segments.
Append standard intro and outro sequences.
Keep project drafts updated and organised.

Mandatory Requirements:
Communication: Active WhatsApp access for daily project coordination, real-time updates, and quick clarifications.
CapCut Desktop App: Must edit exclusively on a Mac or PC desktop/laptop capable of running CapCut Desktop smoothly. (Editing on mobile or tablet is strictly not accepted).
Turnaround & Speed: Ability to return initial draft edits within agreed working hours during the trial period.
Reliability: Stable home internet connection with an active mobile data in case of local power/net disruptions.
Direct Freelancers Only: No agencies, project managers, or subcontracting. To ensure security, payments will strictly be issued to an account matching the verified name on your government ID and resume.
