FULL-TIME RESIDENTIAL AUTOCAD DRAFTER – NIGHT SHIFT – LONG-TERM POSITION

We’re hiring a drafting professional to join our remote team in a permanent, full-time role.

If you have a degree in architecture, experience producing drawings for U.S. buildings, and a sharp eye for detail, we want to hear from you. We’re a growing architectural drafting company looking for a dedicated, long-term team member. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, deep familiarity with U.S. residential construction methods, and a passion for producing clean, accurate construction documents.

This is a production-drafting position involving new drawings, redlines, revisions, and repetitive plan updates. Applicants should be comfortable following established standards, receiving detailed feedback, and improving their speed and independence over time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Draft residential plans, elevations, sections, and details in AutoCAD

* Produce construction drawings using U.S. building conventions

* Interpret sketches, redlines, and markups from U.S.-based designers

* Revise existing house plans accurately and efficiently

* Follow company standards for layers, lineweights, dimensions, blocks, and sheet organization

* Communicate questions and progress clearly while meeting deadlines

REQUIREMENTS:

* Degree in architecture or a closely related field

* Three or more years of professional AutoCAD experience

* Experience producing U.S. residential construction documents

* Strong understanding of wood framing, foundations, roofing, siding, insulation, and related construction methods

* Familiarity with floor plans, elevations, sections, foundations, framing plans, and site plans

* Strong attention to detail and dimensional accuracy

* Good spoken and written English

* Reliable computer capable of running AutoCAD smoothly

* High-speed internet connection and a backup plan for outages

* Familiarity with Google Drive, Google Meet, and other cloud-based tools

* Commitment to a permanent, full-time position

WORKING HOURS – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING:

This is currently a full-time night-shift position.

* 40 hours per week

* Work schedule of 12:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Philippine Time, Tuesday through Saturday

* This corresponds to Monday through Friday in Utah

* The schedule remains fixed in Philippine Time when Utah changes its clocks

* This position should be your primary professional commitment

Our long-term goal is to provide more daytime working hours as team members demonstrate that they can manage projects accurately and independently with less real-time supervision. Any future schedule adjustment would be based on individual and team performance and is not guaranteed.

Applicants must be willing and able to maintain the current overnight schedule indefinitely unless a different schedule is formally approved.

Candidates who perform well on the AutoCAD skills test may be invited to complete an online, proctored attention-to-detail assessment.

STEP 5 - VIDEO INTERVIEWS

The strongest candidates will be invited to an initial video interview. Finalists may then be invited to a second, more in-depth interview before a hiring decision is made.
