JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a hands-on SEO/AEO Specialist to manage and improve both organic search and AI search visibility, with a focus on local SEO, content optimization, and lead generation. This role will support multiple websites through technical SEO, content optimization, AEO, and ongoing search performance improvements.

What You’ll Be Doing:
-Manage SEO and AEO strategies to improve organic rankings, AI search visibility, traffic, and inbound leads
-Conduct technical SEO audits and implement fixes using WordPress, HTML/CSS, and SEO best practices
-Optimize site structure, metadata, internal linking, page speed, headers, and schema markup
-Create and optimize service, location, blog, and FAQ content based on keywords, search intent, and conversational queries
-Optimize content for AI-generated answers, featured snippets, FAQs, People Also Ask, and other search results
-Support local SEO, including location pages and Google Business Profile optimization
-Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude for content research, creation, and optimization
-Use SEMrush, Ahrefs, or SurferSEO for keyword research, audits, competitor analysis, content optimization, and performance tracking
-Monitor SEO and AEO performance and identify opportunities to improve search visibility and inbound leads

What We’re Looking For:
-Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
-At least 2 years of experience in SEO, AEO, or a similar role
-Strong hands-on experience with on-page and technical SEO, including local SEO
-Working knowledge of AEO and optimizing content for AI-powered search and answer engines
-Experience with service-area and location-based websites
-Experience working directly in WordPress and familiarity with basic HTML/CSS
-Strong understanding of keywords, search intent, content structure, internal linking, and schema
-Experience using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or SurferSEO
-Comfortable using AI tools for content research, creation, and optimization

Technical Requirements:
Comfortable in using time-trackers (e.g. Time Doctor)
Own laptop/desktop, noise-cancelling headphones, and webcam
Reliable internet connection (at least 50 Mbps)
Available backup equipment in cases of power and internet outages
