Job Overview
We are a UK-based mortgage, protection and property sourcing company looking for a dependable and organised Marketing VA to help maintain our website, support basic SEO and generate marketing leads.
You will work closely with the Director and wider team to keep our online presence up to date, help potential clients find us online and make sure enquiries are properly captured and followed up.
This is a practical marketing role. You do not need to be an SEO expert. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with websites, digital marketing and learning new systems.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management
• Update website pages, images and basic content
• Upload and format blog posts
• Keep website information accurate and up to date
• Check website links, enquiry forms and buttons are working correctly
• Make basic website updates using our existing website platform
SEO Support
• Carry out basic keyword research
• Research competitors and relevant UK mortgage/property topics
• Help optimise blog posts and website pages
• Update basic SEO elements such as page titles, headings and meta descriptions
• Monitor basic website/search performance and highlight areas for improvement
Lead Generation
• Help create and maintain website enquiry forms
• Support simple online lead-generation campaigns
• Monitor incoming enquiries and make sure leads are recorded correctly
• Track where leads are coming from where possible
• Help maintain lead lists and organise prospects within the CRM
Marketing Support & Reporting
• Keep marketing and prospect information organised
• Track website activity and leads generated
• Prepare a simple monthly report showing marketing activity and results
• Suggest practical ideas to improve website enquiries and lead generation
Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in digital marketing, website management, SEO or lead generation is preferred
• Comfortable using website platforms such as WordPress or similar
• Basic understanding of SEO
• Good attention to detail
• Organised and able to manage several tasks
• Good written English
• Willing to learn and take initiative
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Technical Requirements
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace or similar
• Experience with WordPress or another website platform is an advantage
• Comfortable using Canva
• Experience with CRMs is an advantage
• Able to learn new software and systems quickly
