JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to test web and mobile apps that I’m building.
This is hourly, as-needed work, not a set weekly schedule. Some weeks I may have several hours of testing; other weeks there may be no work. This would be a good fit for someone looking to add flexible work alongside other projects.
What you’ll do:
Test new apps, prototypes and features from a normal user's perspective
Go through every screen, button, link, form and workflow
Try different scenarios and intentionally look for things that break
Test on desktop and mobile
Identify bugs, confusing UX, formatting problems and inconsistencies
Take screenshots or short screen recordings showing problems
Write very clear instructions explaining how to reproduce each issue
Retest fixes after developers make changes
Give feedback on whether the app feels intuitive and professional
You do not need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable with technology and very good at noticing details.
Experience with QA/testing, SaaS products, web applications, mobile apps, AI tools, or software development is a plus.
I care much more about attention to detail, communication and reliability than formal credentials.
