JOB OVERVIEW

Our videos are talking head style with a clear story, and the editing is what makes them work. Think of the way Alex Hormozi's videos are cut. Someone talking to camera, and around that a constant layer of motion graphics, animated text, b-roll and visual proof that keeps the viewer watching to the end.

We are looking for one editor who owns this from raw footage to publish ready file. You get the footage and the script, you deliver the finished video and the thumbnail.

What you will do

Edit long form YouTube videos of maximum 10 minutes from raw talking head footage
Build motion graphics, animated text and transitions that carry the story instead of decorating it
Visualize what is being said. When the script says "you see on screen a ..." the right visual appears at the right second and it looks clean
Replace backgrounds and change the full setting of a shot when the story calls for a different environment
Generate and integrate AI images and AI visuals so they blend with the real footage
Design a simple thumbnail for each video. This is a small part of the job, editing is the main work
Handle sound design, music, color and captions so the video is ready to publish

What we are looking for

A strong portfolio of talking head videos with heavy motion graphics. This is the most important requirement. Applications without a portfolio are not reviewed
Advanced Premiere Pro or Final Cut, plus After Effects for motion graphics
Real experience with background replacement, masking, keying and rotoscoping
Working knowledge of AI image and video tools such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, Runway or Kling, and the taste to make that output look believable next to real footage
Clear written English and the discipline to hit deadlines without being chased

Nice to have

Thumbnail design in Photoshop or Canva
Experience editing for a brand channel or personal brand channel that actually grew
Understanding of YouTube retention and what makes people keep watching

How to apply

Send your application with the following.

A link to your portfolio with at least two talking head videos you edited yourself, with the motion graphics clearly visible
One example where you replaced a background or changed the setting of a shot, and one example where you used AI generated visuals inside an edit
A short note on which tools you use and how long you normally need for a 10 minute video
Start your message with the word GRAPHICS so we know you read the full post
