JOB OVERVIEW

We build Shopify stores for clients on an ongoing basis and are looking for someone who can take on app installations and setups that go beyond the basics.

Most apps install in a few clicks. That is not what this role is about. We need someone who can take an app, work through its documentation, and get it doing exactly what the project requires — including the configuration, the theme integration, and the troubleshooting when it does not work as expected out of the box.

Examples of the kind of work involved:

* Collection filtering set up with custom filters, including metafield-based ones
* Rewards and loyalty programs configured and styled to match the store
* Product page customisation apps — configuring options, variants and conditional logic so the right choices appear on the right products
* Metafield and metaobject setups, including displaying that content on the theme where the app does not handle it automatically
* Product configurators and build-your-own product setups
* Bundle, upsell and subscription apps configured to a specific brief
* Getting two apps to work together when they conflict
* Placing app blocks and embeds correctly in the theme, and fixing them when they break the layout

What we are looking for:

* Someone who has installed and configured a wide range of Shopify apps, not just the common ones
* Comfortable working through an app's documentation and support material to get a result, without needing to be walked through it
* Able to make small theme code edits where an app requires it, and to do that safely
* Able to test your own work and fix issues before handing it over
* Someone who enjoys working out how to do something they have not done before

The work:

* Paid per task, agreed before each job
* Ongoing volume — we build stores continuously
* Two trial tasks as the first step, both paid per task regardless of the outcome
