JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a sharp, reliable, and proactive Product & Sourcing Assistant to join our team and support our clients in launching their own physical products and brands. You’ll play a key role in researching products on Google and Alibaba, communicating directly with manufacturers, and overseeing the early stages of product development and supply chain.

You’ll help our clients bring their ideas to life, from the first sample to final production across a range of categories including apparel, food & drink, skincare, supplements, and accessories.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Sourcing Products: Research products and suppliers on Google, Alibaba, and other platforms across a variety of industries.
• Supplier Outreach: Message manufacturers, request quotations, and manage back-and-forth communication to gather key info like MOQs, lead times, and certifications.
• Comparison Tables: Organize supplier quotes and product specs into clear comparison sheets to help clients make informed decisions.
• Sample Coordination: Help clients order samples and manage timelines, tracking delivery and feedback.
• Production Oversight: Ensure clients place their stock orders on time and support them through the manufacturing process.
• Negotiation: Help secure the best pricing, terms, and timelines with manufacturers while maintaining quality.
• Supply Chain Management: Track production progress, anticipate delays, and communicate timelines clearly with both the client and manufacturer.
• Cross-Niche Awareness: Stay familiar with production considerations across multiple niches including food-safe packaging, garment materials, cosmetics compliance, and more.

What We’re Looking For
• Strong understanding of eCommerce manufacturing across multiple product types
• Experience using Alibaba, , Made-in-China, or similar sourcing platforms
• Excellent written English and strong communication skills for managing back-and-forth with overseas suppliers
• Ability to organize and manage multiple sourcing projects at once
• Confident creating comparison documents and presenting clear sourcing options to clients
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset — you don’t wait to be told what to do
• Experience with international shipping, sampling logistics, or freight forwarding is a plus
• Bonus: Familiarity with Shopify, Notion, Google Sheets, or ClickUp
