JOB OVERVIEW

WordPress / Divi Web Designer

We are looking for an experienced WordPress web designer who is highly proficient with the Divi theme to assist with ongoing website projects for two organizations: ---------- and ---------- .

About the Role
This is project-based / gig work, not a full-time position.

Initially, the work will consist of smaller website projects and updates as needs arise. We are looking for someone who can respond promptly when a project is assigned and complete work efficiently without requiring extensive supervision.

If we develop a strong working relationship, there is potential for the amount and frequency of work to grow over time. Ideally, we would like to find someone who can become our go-to web designer whenever website work is needed.

What You'll Work On
Projects may include:
-Creating and modifying pages in WordPress using Divi
-Improving page layouts and design
-Building new sections based on existing website styles
-Making websites responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile
-Updating text, images, buttons, forms, and other website elements
-Troubleshooting Divi or WordPress layout issues
-Improving the overall appearance and usability of existing pages
-Occasionally helping develop new pages or website features

What We're Looking For
-You should have:
-Strong experience with WordPress
-Strong experience with the Divi theme / Divi Builder
-A good eye for clean, professional web design
-Experience creating responsive websites
-The ability to follow an established brand and website style
-Good attention to detail
-Clear written English communication
-The ability to work independently
-Reliable availability and reasonably quick turnaround when accepting a project
-Experience with basic HTML/CSS and WordPress troubleshooting is a plus.

About the Organizations
---------- is a Christian nonprofit organization working in West Africa to restore sight through eye surgery and serve rural communities while sharing the gospel.
-AXSIX provides administrative, outreach, and operational support to nonprofit and ministry organizations.

You would initially be assisting with the websites for these two organizations.
