JOB OVERVIEW

Hiring Video Editor for YouTube Shorts / Reels / TikTok

I am looking for a skilled video editor for ongoing creation and editing of short-form vertical content (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok).

Required Skills:

Dynamic Pacing: Ability to maintain high retention with fast-paced cuts, tight rhythm, and zero dead air (jump cuts).

Engaging Captions: Formatting and animating subtitles in the style of CapCut or Alex Hormozi (kinetic text, color coding, pop-up highlights timed to speech).

Visual FX & B-Roll: Adding relevant overlays (stock footage, screen graphics, memes, callouts, emojis) to illustrate key points.

Sound Design: Adding suitable background music, balancing audio levels, and embedding sound effects (whooshes, pops, clicks) on transitions and graphics.

Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro.

Fast Turnaround & Independence: Respecting deadlines and working efficiently from scripts or raw footage with minimal oversight.
