Logistics Coordinator / Virtual Assistant – U.S. Trucking & Freight

Modern Transit is looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our growing transportation team.

This is not simply a data-entry position. We are looking for someone who can become an important part of our daily workflow and grow with our company.

You will work alongside our U.S.-based team to help coordinate freight, maintain accurate shipment information, post available loads, update transportation systems, and ensure our operations remain organized throughout the day.

What You'll Be Doing

• Posting available truckloads to DAT and other freight platforms

• Entering and maintaining shipment information in our Transportation Management System (TMS)

• Building new loads and updating existing shipments

• Using Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets to organize and maintain transportation data

• Monitoring loads and updating shipment statuses

• Assisting with pickup and delivery information

• Organizing documents and shipment records

• Communicating internally with our operations team

• Performing administrative and workflow-support tasks

• Learning Modern Transit's processes and helping us continuously improve them

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, an excellent communicator, and willing to learn.

Previous experience in U.S. trucking, freight brokerage, logistics, dispatching, DAT, or a transportation management system is strongly preferred, but we are also willing to consider an exceptional candidate who learns quickly and has strong administrative skills.

You should be comfortable working with Excel, web-based software, email, and multiple systems simultaneously.

Because you'll be supporting U.S. transportation operations, strong written and spoken English is important.
